James Leon Dodge
James Leon Dodge, 73, of Mauston, WI, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. He was born in Mauston, WI, on July 6, 1941, to Leon Merle and Wanda Mary (Norris) Dodge. He attended schools in Mauston, Tomah, Silver Lake and Kenosha, WI. James served in the National Guard. On August 5, 1967, he married Kathleen Joanne Hunt at St, James Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI. This union was blessed with two children, James Charles Dodge and Kimberly Ann (Dodge) Loepp. He owned and operated Dodge Construction and was employed by Chrysler for 30 years. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly (Marc) Loepp and grandson, Noah Loepp, all of Kenosha, WI; son and daughter-in-law, James Charles (Patricia) Dodge and grandchildren, Amber and Brandon Dodge, all of Racine, WI; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia Mary (Russell) Carrel, Jr. of Pleasant Prairie, WI; and two nephews, Todd (Julie) and Chad Ogren, both of Kenosha, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife, Kathleen (Hunt) Dodge. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
