Marilyn E. Spitzer, 87, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2014, at Brookdale Senior Living Center. She was born on March 20, 1927, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late F. Wesley and Ella (Keuffer) Linstroth. She was a 1945 graduate of Kenosha High School, serving on the reunion committee for many years. On November 8, 1947, she married Robert F. Spitzer at First Methodist Church of Kenosha. She was an avid sports fan, loved to read, knit, crochet and do needle point. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Robert of Kenosha; three sons, Michael R. (Dru) Spitzer of Kenosha, Rob D. (Barb) Spitzer of Franklin, WI, and Glenn W. Spitzer of Winter Haven, FL; seven grandchildren, Megan, Erin, Janelle, Kyle (Ashly), Erica, Wesley and Joey; and two great-grandchildren, Brady and Madisyn. She is further survived by other beloved relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
