Elizabeth C. Santiago, 67, of Kenosha, passed away from a brief illness on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Kenosha on May 19, 1947, she was the daughter of Llwyn and Anna Heinzman. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended Hillcrest Elementary School and Weiskopf School. On June 18, 1966, she married Michael Santiago at St. George Catholic Church. Elizabeth was formerly employed at the Elks Club in Kenosha for 17 years. She then went to work at Paielli’s Bakery for 7 ½ years until her retirement in 1997. She had been a longtime member of St. Casimir’s Catholic Church until its closing; she than attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Michael Santiago of Kenosha; two daughters, Linda A. Santiago and Kathy M. Santiago; a son, Michael Santiago, Jr.; a brother, Bob Heinzman of Kenosha; a sister, Nancy Santiago of Kenosha; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Frank Heinzman; and a sister; Louise McDaniels. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th, at the Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. for prayers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, at Our Lady of Mt.
