Mary Elizabeth Garza, 79, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014, at Aurora Medical Center. Born in Haynes, AR, on March 7, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Bonard and Van Loye (Lintz) Free. She was educated in the schools of Arkansas. On August 24, 1953 she married John Garza in Marianna, AR. Together they moved to Kenosha in 1956. Mary was employed as an inspector with OMC until her retirement in 1978. She loved gardening, cooking and going to rummage sales. She also had a strong love for her pets and animals in general. Survivors include her husband, John of Kenosha; three children, John (Doreen) Garza, Sharon Garza and Ralph “Mick” Garza, all of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Sarah Garza, Aaron Garza, Michelle Malkmus, Eric Garza and Laura Garza; three brothers, Clyde Free of Kenosha, Alton Free of Twin Lakes and Lelion Free of Marianna, AR; and a sister, Virginia Clark of Brandon, MS. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Garza; three brothers, Martin, Doyle and Willard; and a sister, Elsie Dilks. Private services will be held.
