Francis W. Bebo, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at The Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in Union Grove surrounded by his loving family. Born in Marquette, MI, on July 27, 1926, he was the son of the late Joseph and Philomena (LaValley) Bebo. He was raised and educated in Marquette, served in the United States Army during World War II and came to Kenosha around 1948 in search of better employment. On August 20, 1949, he married Viola A. Tenuta at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on October 6, 2006. For over 30 years he was a Tool Grinder for American Motors/Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1986. Francis was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, UAW Local 72 Retirees and the Kenosha Bowman Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling. Surviving are his four daughters, Franciene (Daniel) Hassman of Waupaca, WI, Laura (James) Newberry of Pleasant Prairie, Mary Jo (Thomas) Jensen of Racine, WI, and Diane (Donald) Franklin of Mt. Pleasant, WI; a sister, Anita Nelson; two brothers, Raymond and Joseph Bebo; sixteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Bebo; a son, Steven Michael Bebo; a brother, Darryl Bebo; and a grandchild. Francis’ family would like to thank the staff of Boland Hall at the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home and especially the nurses at Vitas Hospice for all of the wonderful care they gave him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 15th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919-54th Street, at12:00 noon. Interment will be held privately at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. Visitation will be held on Monday at Our Lady of Mt. We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Fritz. He was Loving, Funny and a Great Uncle. I will always remember how he Loved fishing and was good enough to share some of his secrets on how to catch fish with me. He will be missed by many. Love Art

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Fritz. He was such a kind, gentle man who reminded me so much of Grandma Bebo. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family as we know it's been a rough year. Rest in peace, Uncle.
