James E. Wolfe, 84, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, with his son at his side. Born in Chicago, IL, on December 21, 1929, he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Marie (Demmer) Wolfe, Sr. He was educated in the schools of Wilmette, IL, and graduated from Loyola Academy and Loyola University. James was self-employed as a real estate agent in Illinois until he retired to Kenosha to be closer to his son and his family. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and volunteered for numerous years at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, IL. He loved history, convertibles, trains and the Kenosha street cars. Survivors include his son, John (Manon) Wolfe of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Sean and Elizabeth; and sixteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas F. Wolfe, Jr.; and three sisters, Eileen Perille, Mary Jean Georger and Margaret Mary Wolfe. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5th, from the Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated on Friday at St. James Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
