Mary L. Anderson, 89, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21st, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 4, 1925, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Vollmer) Sunderland. On May 26, 1945, she married Arthur Anderson at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2002. Mary was employed by Snap On in their office until she retired. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting and knitting. Mary is survived by her three children, Barbara (Dennis) Lamar of Racine, Mary (Jack) Wirth and Jeff (Sue) Anderson both of Kenosha; seven grandchildren, Royd Anderson, Michael Anderson, Sherry Wirth, Christina Malinsky, Joseph Wirth, Erin Anderson and Caitlin Anderson; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Alice Maurer and two brothers, Robert and William Sunderland. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, Eddie Sunderland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 26th at St. Therese Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
