Doris Arlene Krahn, 82, of Bristol, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014, at Brookside Care Center. Born in Knox County, MO, on January 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Earl N. and Thelma (Bailey) Golbricht. She moved to Kenosha County as a child and was educated in the local schools. On February 11, 1956, she married Lyle Krahn at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2012. Doris owned and operated Cinderella Beauty Shop for several years. After she sold the beauty shop, she continued to work as a beautician out of her home. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a former member of the Moose Lodge and the Mall Walkers. Doris enjoyed crocheting, gardening, flower arranging, bowling, dancing, dartball and trips to the casino. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her two children, Karen (Ted) Sakalowski of Bristol and Ken (Denise) Krahn of Paris; four grandchildren, Kelly (Cory) Clausing, Katie (Chad) Daniels, Jamie (Chris) Eibl and Ryan Krahn; five great-grandchildren, Kole, Ava, Kinzie, Molly and Caleb; and a brother, Earl Dean (Joanne) Golbricht of Bristol. The family would like to thank the staff of Brookside Care Center and Hospice Alliance for all the kind and compassionate care they gave Doris.
