Joan I. Iverson, 74, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Parkside Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Chicago on December 28, 1939, the daughter of the late Verner and Pauline (Fraser) Johnson. Joan was educated in the schools of Chicago and on March 2, 1959, she married John Iverson in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2011. Together they lived in Chicago and were members of St. Gregory’s Parish. She was employed by KPMG Company in Chicago as an Executive Secretary until her retirement and then moved to Bristol, WI, in 2004. Surviving Joan are her children, Theresa (Peter) Dalsky of Athens, WI, Joseph (Janice) Iverson of Pleasant Prairie, WI, and Michael (Catalina) Iverson of Antioch, IL; and five grandchildren, Edward, Samantha, Joseph, Andrew and Morgan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a grandson, Nicholas; and a brother, Robert Johnson.
