Violet Irene Judeika, 67, of Merrillan, WI, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014, at her home under the care of Black River Hospice. Violet was born on September 9, 1946, to Russell and Olive Lou (Wieble) Cowen in New Kingston, PA. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Kenosha where she lived most of her life. On January 26, 1963, she married Charles Judeika in Kenosha. They had four children, Lynn, Chuck Jr., Russell and Troy. Preceding her in death was her father, Russell Cowen. She is survived by her husband, Charles Judeika, Sr.; her children, Lynn Judeika, Charles (Raenay) Judeika Jr., Russell (Rita) Judeika and Troy (Heidi) Judeika; her mother, Olive Lou Cowen-Werra; two sisters, Linda (Bill) Bruce and Wilma (John) Anderson; a brother, Fred (Carol) Cowen; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 25th, at Proko Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
