Eleanore Lee Lampada, 99, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Harmony Assisted Living Facility. Born on October 7, 1914, in Manitowoc, WI, she was the daughter of the late Matthias and Elsie (Frosch) Lambries. On March 26, 1934, she married Peter F. Lampada. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1994. She was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, especially for her grandchildren and any visitors. She was fond of gardening and flowers that reminded her of her mother and childhood. Eleanore is survived by her five children, Peter M. (Alice) Lampada, James (Joan) Lampada and Michael (Debbie) Lampada all of Kenosha, Maria Lampada of Neceda, WI, and Jean Wertz of Kenosha; eleven grandchildren, Jane, Laurie, Joseph, Steven, Phillip, Matthew, Thomas, Carrie, John, Seth and Sarah; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Louis Lambries of Manitowoc, WI; and two sisters, Betty Schramm and Violet Wester, both of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her infant son, Joseph. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Harmony Assisted Living and Hospice Alliance for their wonderful care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 3rd, at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
