Clay Russell Davison, 16, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at his home. Born in Kenosha on November 16, 1997, he was the son of Russell Davison, Jr. and Felicia Labatore. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools currently attending Indian Trail. He was a member of Great Lakes Church. Clay had an infectious smile that dynamically brightened the spirits of everyone around him. He could always make everyone laugh with one of his great impressions or silly voices. Clay’s natural ability to entertain brought a special quality to every gathering. He could often be found in the dugout or in his classroom making his friends laugh uncontrollably. At family gatherings, all eyes were on what he would do next to entertain everyone. He loved deeply and lived a mile a minute. He attacked everything with conviction. This showed with his success in baseball, football, boxing, Tae Kwon Do, and weightlifting. This world will never know a spirit quite like “Clay Bay.” Survivors include his mother and step father, Felicia and Joe Labatore of Kenosha; his father, Russell Davison, Jr. of Kenosha; three brothers, Jacob and Justin Labatore and Jacob Davison, all of Kenosha; five sisters, Melissa, Jessica, Hadley, Tessa and Ashlyn Davison, all of Kenosha; his maternal grandparents, Carolyn Morrow and Tom Ellis; his paternal grandmother, Jeannie Ryan; two uncles, Brent Morrow and Troy (Carolyn) Davison; and aunt, Jody Davison; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Russell Davison, Sr.; and an uncle, Kelly Davison. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th, at Journey Church, 10700-75th Street, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 1st, at Journey Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Clay’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com

Felicia and family... We are so very saddened by your loss, however you and your family did an amazing job celebrating Clay's life with so very many pictures and tangible things of his on display. The stories today were wonderful to hear and it sounds like he was an awesome teen whom we wish we could have known! My daughter, Hailey, was fortunate to go to school with him. And although, she was just an acquaintance, she certainly knew him for his laughter and smile! It is obvious that his life touched many and even though I did not meet him, I am so glad that I got to learn about his life. I hope in the days, months, and years to come you will find peace and joy in his memory. God bless you and your family. Love, Stefanie & Jeremy Dozier

Our hearts will not stop aching. We continue to pray for Clay, his parents, family and all who knew him. In the great moment of loss and sadness we look back on the memories, the smiles which were many that Clay brought and any picture we can find over the years with him. While Clay's time was far to short here, we hold on to the memories and pray to see him once again in our heavenly home.
