Robert “Rob” Joseph Pontillo, 51, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 7, 1962, in Kenosha, he was the son of Ralph and Violet (Black) Pontillo. On March 6, 2002, he married Patrice Leanna in Jamaica; they shared a wonderful life together for 22 years. He was previously employed as a warehousing manager for a local building supplier. Rob was a member of the N.R.A, Ducks Unlimited, an avid hunter and fisherman and Packer fan. He loved to boat, Jet Ski, water ski, and snow ski. He was a great gardener and took pride in keeping his yard beautiful. He was an awesome cook, known for his special secret tomato sauce. Rob loved his dog “Onyx” and spending time up north at his cabin. He will always be remembered for the great stories he told. He is survived by his wife, Patrice of Pleasant Prairie; his mother, Violet R. Pontillo of Kenosha; a sister, Colleen (Mike) Cyzak of Kenosha; and two brothers, Ralph (Pam) Pontillo of Dayton, OH, and John Pontillo of Kenosha. He is further survived by his loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Ralph L. Pontillo. Rob, as I look back in time I see us catching frogs and turtles as we waded in Birch Lake. We would be gone roaming in the woods for hours. No fears, no cares, just living our simple young life. Little did we know what was in our future. I am so sorry yours has been cut short on this earth. I know you are free of pain watching the sunset and stars with dad looking over your love, Patrice.
