I had the pleasure of working with Nick about 20 years ago as a caregiver for both he and Don.... I will always remember the great memories and the laughs that we all had.... The Cubs game, countless movies, helping coach his special Olympics softball team, and then there was making our favorite "pizza bread" on Monday nights and of course always catching Nick getting up in the middle of the night to eat that last piece of pizza bread in the fridge (which I always put in there just for that reason and he would say "shhhh don't tell Cathy" :)RIP buddy - I will always remember you and I'll cherish the memories that we were able to make..Mike

I met Nick when I started working for khds at the group home. My memory of Nick was how he liked all of his house parents, but only one at a time. He would say I want so and so to work and you to go home and when so and so was working he would say i want Joyce. When is she coming back? I would pic him up from KAC and he would say, " oh no! not you again." The same cycle every week. Nick will be missed.

I have known Nicky for a number of years as a coach with the Special Olympics of Kenosha. It was sheer pleasure to know this man and to see him at all the practices. He brought a smile to everyone's faces when he entered a room. He smiled and you smiled. You couldn't help it. He was a ray of sunshine and our family will sorely miss him. Rest In Peace Nick. You are with your mom and dad now.

I had the privilege of working with Nicky when I was employed by KHDS. Nicky had the best sense of humor and a caring soul. When it was time to drive the guys to work at KAC I always got a kick out of hearing Nicky say, "I go to retirement!" He was a bright light during my time serving him and the other guys in their home.
