Adele D’Amore, 102, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Brookside Care Center. Born in Kenosha on October 13, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Lucia Polentini. On August 29, 1935, she married Joseph D’Amore. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1976. Adele was employed by Isermann Brothers as a tailor and at Sears Department Store. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Adele is survived by her three sons, Salvatore (Elaine) D’Amore, Mario (Jean) D’Amore and Robert (Pauline) D’Amore, all of Kenosha; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Brookside Care Center for the wonderful and compassionate care of their mother. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service and interment will be private.
