Elenore Grasser
Elenore Grasser, formerly of Kenosha, late of Burlington, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. Born in Kenosha on July 14, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Louise (Juengel) Haubrich. She was raised in Kenosha and was educated in local schools. On November 17, 1951, she married Chuck Grasser in Kenosha. Elenore worked with her mother at Haubrich Slipcover and Drapery in Kenosha. In later years, she ran the Valley Oaks Restaurant and Tavern with her husband in New Munster, WI. Survivors include her husband, Chuck; six children, Pat (Nancy Fonk), Mike (Judy Antlsperger), Jeff (Nora Schulz), Chuck (Georgia Gray), Willy (Pam Styscko) and Fritz; fifteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an uncle, Willy “Bill” Juengel. Elenore’s family would like to thank Dr. Randy Schmidt and his staff as well as Dr. James Moran and his staff for the kind and considerate care they gave her. Oh my.... Of all the Grasser families, Chuck and Elinor are the ones I think of most. Always a smiling face, always a song. Memories of the old Chevy full of young boys and Elinor coming into town. Chuck and Georgia and family,This just broke my heart when I heard the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. What a Great Lady your Mother was and she left such a wonderful legacy in the six wonderful men she raised.. I hope I'm even just 1/4 the woman I know your Mom was. God Bless to you and the family.
