Theresa F. Soltis, 77, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Kenosha on November 15, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Lucy (Sagovic) Petrin. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. On June 28, 1958, she married George R. Soltis at St. Mary Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2012. A homemaker, Theresa also helped out with the family orchard, from spraying the trees, picking apples, making cider and even selling the fruits of their labor at the farmers markets. Survivors include three sons, Raymond Soltis of Wichita, KS, Donald (Lisa) Soltis of Kansasville, WI, and Gary Soltis of Kenosha; two daughters, Kathleen (Joel) Morison and Susan Jordan, both of Milwaukee; a brother, Robert (Eloise) Petrin of Davis, IL; a sister, Dorothy Claeys of Casa Grande, AZ; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and John Petrin; a sister, Marian Murphy; and a son-in-law, Travis Jordan.
