Jim and siblings: Your dad was the last of the group of Kenosha friends my folks had when first married: Delores, Gloria & Willard, etc. That group taught be about adult friendships. I have good memories of your Dad fishing with mine and our mothers sharing pregnancy "news" They are probably in heaven, playing cards, eating BBQs and laughing. My condolences. K.

Dear Nancy, I was so sad to hear of your father’s passing. I know how very close you were and how much time you’ve spent caring for him, especially in the past few years. How fortunate he was to have you near. Though I did not have the opportunity to know him, I’m convinced he was a wonderful and loving man who was not only devoted to his family, but also to his community and his country. HIs obituary certainly reflects a life full of the pleasures of family and out of doors, as well as outstanding military service. No doubt he will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. You and your entire family have my deepest sympathy. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do for you, even if it’s just to lend an ear. With love to you and your family,Kathy
