Geraldine Grover, 64, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at her residence. Born in Chicago, IL, on July 29, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Antoinette (DeStefano) Grover. She was educated in the schools of Chicago and moved to Kenosha in 1983. Geraldine was employed as a waitress in various restaurants in the Chicago area and also in Kenosha, including the Sunshine Restaurant and 3 Coins. She was very crafty and enjoyed making wind chimes and jewelry. She also enjoyed raising her pet exotic birds and snakes, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandsons. Survivors include her son, Carl Busby, Sr. of Kenosha; two grandsons, Jeremy Busby and Carl Busby, Jr.; a sister, Elizabeth (Oscar) Calvo of Libertyville, IL; and two nieces, Shannon and Kitty, both of Kenosha. Geri was a great friend of my mom's, and I know she missed her terribly. It brings a smile to my face knowing those two trouble makers are back together again, smiling down on us. God bless Geraldine and her family and friends in this time of loss.
