Mr. Saksvig was my principal at Bullen in the early 80’s. He was kind, gentle and ran a tight ship. I enjoyed seeing him and Dr. Joseph Mangi in recent years (2008 – 10) when he was able to come to the annual Applebee's Pancake Breakfast and other events in the community. He remembered me from way back then. We talked about the good old days and student mischief (1983 Food Fight) at Bullen. He made an impact in my life and will be missed. May God comfort the family, friends and love ones he leaves to cherish his memory.
