She was born in Kenosha, WI, on March 21, 1928, the third daughter of John and Rose (Simone) Taglianetti. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and attended Bain, McKinley and Kenosha High School. She went on to further her education at Kenosha Technical College. In her younger years she was employed at Great Lakes Navel Training Base, where she met Harold Cobb. They married and Louise had her first born, a son, David Joseph Cobb. This marriage later ended in divorce. On August 28, 1956, she married Karl Peura Sr., and had two children, Karl Peura Jr., and Cindy Peura. Louise went on to further her education, after her children were in school, and studied in the nursing profession, becoming a nurses aid, and attempted to further herself in that profession. She interned at St. Luke’s Hospital in Racine, enjoying her time assigned to the preemie ward, taking great pleasure in caring for the smallest of infants. Louise also enjoyed playing her organ, crocheting, cooking and baking. She had many friendships through the years, and kept in touch with many of those people by phone. She is survived by her sons, David J. Cobb (Lynn-Marie), and Karl Peura, Jr. (Roberta), her daughter, Cindy Peura, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, her sister, Camille Engdahl, sister-in-law, Lee Lampada, several nieces, nephews, and special friends. She is further survived by her faithful feline companion, Tammy, who never left her side.
