Luciano "Chano" Saldana, 87, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at his home. Born on January 9, 1926, in Waco, TX, he was the son of the late Pablo and Pilar (Ramos) Saldana. He moved to Kenosha in 1950. On July 16, 1960, he married Patricia Ann Kramer in Kenosha. She preceded him in death on April 20, 1998. Luciano was employed as a Spot Welder by Chrysler until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church and UAW Local 72. He loved watching wrestling, Spanish music and spending time with his granddaughters. Luciano is survived by his two children, Joseph Mark Saldana of Mesa, AZ, and Debra Kay (Cesar) Munoz of Kenosha; and two grandchildren, Vanessa and Alexandria Munoz. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his sister, Jesusa Cervantes, and his brother, Pablo Saldana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 15th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.
