Anna Vena, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2013, at Azura South in Kenosha with her loving family at her side. Born on December 27, 1929, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Catherine (DiCello) Giordano. Anna attended local schools and she spent most of her life in Kenosha, but also spent time in California and Las Vegas. Anna loved music, dancing, video poker, shopping and going out to eat with family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anna is survived by her four children, Stephen (Connie) Irving of Kenosha, David (Carmen) Irving of Costa Rica, Cathy (Daniel Brown) Gill of Winthrop Harbor, and Michael A. (Linda) Werwie of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Christopher, Brent, Sean, Heather and Tiffany; and her ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9th, at Proko Funeral Home 12:00 Noon. Interment at All Saints Cemetery will be private.
