Debra Lynn True, 48, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3rd, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 19, 1965, in Fond du Lac, WI, she was the daughter of James and Maureen (Phillips) Thome. Debra attended St. Mary’s Springs High School in Fond du Lac, WI. She graduated from Washington High School in Two Rivers, WI and attended UW-Whitewater. On August 10, 1991, she married Robert True in Oshkosh, WI. They moved to the Kenosha area 20 years ago, where they had two wonderful children. Debra was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and greatly enjoyed being a stay at home mom. She volunteered at her children’s schools and was the Treasurer of True Technologies, the family business. Debra is survived by her husband, Robert True of Pleasant Prairie; two children, Matthew and Mackenzie True of Pleasant Prairie; her parents, James and Maureen Thome of Oshkosh; three brothers, Randy (Kate) Thome of Oshkosh, WI, Brian Thome of Three Lakes, WI, and Kevin (Carrie) Thome of Cottage Grove, WI; two sisters, Wendy (William) Raab of Greenville, WI, and Jackie (Al) Yenter of Oshkosh, WI; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol and John True of New Berlin, WI; brother-in-law, Dan (Namyoung) True of Carpentersville, IL; and nieces and nephews, Zach Raab, Mason Gohlke, Lindsay (Fiancée Phil Adams), Laura Thome, Michael, James, Will and Henry Thome, Emily and Morgan Yenter, and Alex and Nick True. She is further survived by many relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 7th, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 9001 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6th, at Proko Funeral Home, 5111-60th Street, Kenosha, WI, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. I am absolutely heartbroken about the passing of this amazing women. I was blessed to be her roommate in college. Such fun times and wonderful memories I will cherish. She fought hard but lost her battle. I know her family was very important to her. My prayers to Bob and the children . May the memories of Debbie help you all through this very difficult time.
