Mary and Luanne, I am so very sorry for your loss, and for missing the service yesterday. We were out of town for several days, and I just saw the notice last night. Know that my heart aches for you and that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

We are so saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He was such a special person that briefly touched our lives but most importantly, Thomas'. When we all moved to our neighborhood, our son did not have many friends. He was always wandering around up and down the block looking for something to do. Mary and Mike let him walk the dogs. Oh my, he was SO EXCITED! It was all we heard. Then Mike let him in his backyard to watch birds. Thomas learned so much - we will be forever grateful. The highlight of the year had to be when Mike gave Thomas a CD hanging from a string. Mike told him it was a very treasured item and to take good care of it. It came from hanging in their tree to hangining in ours. Thomas loved to just watch it spin. This, and many, many more memories we will hold dear. I hope the memories the family shared with Mike will also help to ease their grief. Know that he was a special person and made an impact more than he may ever know. God Bless and Prayers to Mary and LuLu and Family.
