Enid Carol Maniscarco
Enid Carol Maniscarco, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. She was born in Tucker County, WV, on November 19, 1929, the daughter of the late Lowell Talmage and Cecelia Olive (Watring) White. She was educated in the schools of Thomas, WV, and came to Kenosha in 1949 to make her home. On January 22, 1949, she married John J. Maniscarco in Oakland, MD. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1995. Enid was an amateur artist and was a member of the Kenosha Art Association and the Senior Citizen Center. She enjoyed many kinds of arts and crafts, enjoyed bowling in various leagues throughout the years, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Survivors include her two daughters, Elaine C. Tihen of Kenosha and Carol “Susy” Buchholz of Muskegon, MI; three grandchildren, Tina (Lori Rivera) Tihen, Shawn (Emily) Buchholz and Geoffrey Buchholz; a great-granddaughter, Elliana; and a sister, Winifred Gatto of Eglon, WV. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald White. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
