Scott P. Stevens, 45, of Salem, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at his residence. Born on February 23, 1968, in Libertyville, IL, he was the son of Robert and Joanne (Alfredson) Stevens. He attended schools in Mundelein and Lake Villa, IL, before moving to Kenosha County in 1983 where he graduated from Central High School in Salem, WI. He had worked for Abbott Laboratories and the last several years for Cambridge Major Laboratories in Germantown, WI. In his spare time Scott enjoyed reading Stephen King books, watching Jack Nicholson movies, listening to Led Zeppelin and riding his ATV. Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Ann Stevens of Salem; his mother, Joanne Stevens of Salem; three brothers, James A. (Terri) of Vernon Hills, IL, Glen M. (Vicky) of Trevor, WI, and Thomas W. (Sandra) of Bristol, WI; his loving former wife, Lisa Stevens of Salem; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Stevens. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31st, at Proko Funeral Home at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
