Kayla Lott, 10, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Harbor Grace Hospice with her loving mother by her side. Born on December 23, 2002, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of Newton Oliver and Katrice Lott. She attended Nash Elementary School. Kayla loved music, especially kids singing; the sound of water, her voice recording box, Dora the Explorer and Sponge Bob. Her favorite colors were purple and cream. She is survived by her parents, Katrice Lott of Atlanta, GA, and Newton Oliver of Maywood, IL; a brother, Kavin Lott of Kenosha; three sisters, Aaliyah Lott, Jaleel Oliver and Kanye Oliver, all of Atlanta, GA; other loving brothers and sisters; seven aunts, Rosietta Lott, Virgie Lott, Bobbie Lott, Gloria Lott, Lillian Montgomery, and Mae Lott, all of Kenosha and Linda Lott of Chicago, IL; two uncles, Fred Lott and Eddie Lott, both of Kenosha; and several very special cousins. Kayla was preceded in death by her sister, Kayla Lott in 2001; her maternal grandmother, Bernice Lott in 1994; her paternal grandmother, Annie Everleaner Oliver-Hardy in 2001; her maternal grandfather, Pete Duffy in 2001; her aunt, Mary Monette in 2002; and three cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.
