Cathy Alice Sipes, 61, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at united Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. She was born on April 6, 1952, in Ottumwa, IA, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ailene Denoto. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1970 and moved to Kenosha from Winthrop Harbor, IL, in 2008. Cathy was employed as a waitress at Silo Restaurant in Lake Bluff, IL, and also as a manager at Point Restaurant in Gurnee, IL. She enjoyed traveling, boating, snowmobiling and going to casinos. Survivors include her companion for the last 25 years, Wayne Sutter of Kenosha and his two children, Brian (Michelle) Sutter of Grays Lake, IL, and Tiffany (Rob) Horning of Antioch, IL, and her brother, Craig (Rhonda) Denoto of Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9th, at Proko Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
