Ida A. Cruciani, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center. Born on May 27, 1924, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Bianca (Chiappini) Cruciani. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. Ida worked many jobs throughout her life but retired after 15 years with American Motors in 1986. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and a former member of St. James Catholic Church, the Parish Ladies Society, Catholic Women’s Club, Italian American Ladies Auxiliary, UAW Local 72, the Ke-Nash-A Club, and the Animal Life Line. Ida was a lover of all animals, but especially dogs and cats. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Donald) Nelson of Oceanside, CA; a brother, Louis John Cruciani of San Diego, CA; a sister, Delia (Richard) Vittori of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Tami Payne and Tiffany (Steve) Gutman; seven great-grandchildren, Kassity, Kierstyn, Brandon, Trenton Anthony, James Donald, Gavin and Gabrielle; a nephew, Alan (Donna) Vittori; and two nieces, Zandra (Gerald) Jendusa and Linda (David) Bowman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 18th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 12:00 noon. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
