Joyce Stine, 81, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Hospitality Manor. Born on July 2, 1931, in Tomah, WI, she was the daughter of the late Leo Navarre and Gladys Irene (Van Dyke) Hancock. She was educated in the schools of Tomah and moved to Kenosha in 1953. On December 27, 1952, she married Charles Stine in Tomah, WI. Joyce formerly employed as a legal secretary in Tomah, with Regal China in Antioch, IL, and retired from American Motors/Chrysler in 1988. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose Chapter 155. Joyce enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, bowling, crocheting and knitted blankets for all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Charles of Kenosha; five children, Lance (Laura) Stine and Lana Frank-Krause, both of Kenosha, Lyle (Jule) Stine of Toledo, OH, Lynn (Mike) Shelton of Raleigh, NC, and Larry Stine of Grover, NC; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Whidden of Oatman, AZ. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Hancock; a sister, Linda Griffin; a daughter-in-law, Myra Stine; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will take place on Friday, April 19th, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 4600-60th Street, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Mom I love you so much, I am happy that you are in Heaven, Now you can hold those great grandsons that we here on earth were not able to... Kiss David, Jimmy and Henry for the rest of us!
