Marianne J. Bear, 67, of Paddock Lake, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 31, 1945 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Frank and Anna (Schuneritsch) Pecoraro, Sr. On September 23, 1967, she married Frank E. Bear in Chicago. In 1987 they moved to Paddock Lake. Marianne was employed as a receptionist until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, attending concerts and was an avid Chicago Bears season ticket holder for over 30 years. Marianne is survived by her husband, Frank of Paddock Lake; her two children, Brian (Sandy) Bear of Pleasant Prairie and Barbra (Bruce Krueger, Sr.) Bear of Paddock Lake; four grandchildren, Samantha and Natalie Benes and Brooke and Brogan Bear; three step grandchildren, Ashleigh, Bruce, Jr., and Haley Krueger; her mother, Anna Pecoraro of Bristol; a brother, Frank (Sharon) Pecoraro of Rolling Meadows, IL; and her beloved dog, Chance. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Johannah at birth; her father, Frank Pecoraro, Sr.; and her nephew, Scott Pecoraro. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, at Proko Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
