Leslie Frances Fedyzkowski, 61, of Greenfield, WI, formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. She was born in Kenosha on May 5, 1951, the daughter of John and Bernice (Zebrowski) Fedyzkowski. Leslie graduated from St. Josephs High School and graduated with honors from U.W. Parkside. She worked in various laboratory settings as a chemist and was recently employed by Chemtech Engineering of Racine as an analytical chemist. Leslie enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, reading and traveling. Leslie had a great fondness for birds, especially her bird “Rascal.” Surviving Leslie is her mother, Bernice Fedyzkowski of Kenosha; two brothers, Thomas Fedyzkowski of Charleston, MS, and Ralph Fedyzkowski of Kenosha; and four sisters, Janice (Gary) Van Strien of Nekoosa, WI, Elaine (Joseph) Hyland of Bartlett, IL, Susan (Roger) Bemann of Wauwatosa, WI, and Carol (Brian) Boehm of Pleasant Prairie, WI; four nieces, three nephews, one great niece, one great nephew, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, John. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 17th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service. Interment will be held privately.
