Georgine Amelia Boyle, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at St. Joseph Home and Rehabilitation Center. Georgine was born in Cambria, MN, on December 6, 1924, the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Davis) Michelson. She graduated from New Ulm High School in New Ulm, MN, in 1943. Soon after, she came to Kenosha to make her home. On April 29, 1950, she married Raymond E. Boyle at the First Congregational Church. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1997. She worked for numerous companies, Simmons, J.I. Case, American Motors and G. LeBlanc Band Instrument Co. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Tri-Clover Retirees Club and Machinist Union Lodge #34. Surviving are her two daughters, Vanessa (Dave) Blum of Manassas, VA, and Nancy (Dennis) Voelz of Kenosha; seven grandchildren, Katie (Tim) Jensen, Amy Voelz, Joe (Sarah) Blum, Zachary (Karlee) Blum, Timothy (Leigh) Blum, and Luke and Hannah Blum; and four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Eli, Jackson and Aubrey. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd, Allen and Wayne Michelson; and one sister, Dorothy Vanderpoel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
