Al Loberger, 53, of Kenosha, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee. Born on December 16, 1959, in Menominee, MI, his family moved to Kenosha when he was a young child, and he remained a lifelong resident. Al was a painter by trade. He most recently worked for Ruffolo Painting & Decorating. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Painters & Allied Trades for many years. Al enjoyed spending time on his property up north, whether it was hunting, fishing or four wheeling. If he was not up north he was riding in one of his AMX cars or with the wind in his face on his Harley. He was an avid Packer Fan and enjoyed some good competition playing ping pong with his family. Most important to him was his family and friends. Al was loved by so many and will be missed more than words can express. He was everyone’s friend and enjoyed helping when needed. The son of the late Robert and Mary (LaComb) Loberger. Surviving are his four brothers, Michael (Sue) Loberger, Gary (Sue) Loberger, Robert (Kathy) Loberger, Jr., and Bruce (Sue) Loberger; three sisters, Ruth (Mark) Wedekind, Joan (Arnie) Detloff, and Mary Lou (Keith) Feichtner; his soul mate, Joleen Thompson; his best friend Mark George; and also numerous nieces and nephews who he loved so much. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Barbara Ann in infancy. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral services at 7:00 p.m. at Proko Funeral Home. Interment will be private. On behalf of my father, William Gutierrez-Spagnoli, who was Al's neighbor and friend and also passed away two days after your beloved husband, father, friend and family member I extend my deepest condolences to your family on my father's behalf. He always spoke of how Al was such an upstanding neighbor, a one of a kind man. Just know that they are now together in heaven somewhere fishing and shooting the breeze and keeping a watchful eye on all of us down here. Warm Thoughts and Deepest Sympathies,Mariel Patino
