George W. Pietkiewicz, 90, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013, at Hospitality Manor Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Kenosha on October 8, 1922, the son of the late Walter and Sophie (Sturycz) Pietkiewicz. He spent his entire life in Kenosha and attended local schools. On June 24, 1961, he married Betty Jorgensen at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. For over 30 years he was employed by Ladish/Tri-Clover Corp. as a machinist, retiring in 1985. Surviving are his wife, Betty of Kenosha; two daughters, Janet (John) Schoettler of Kenosha and Sharon (Brian) Foreman of Round Lake Heights, IL; six grandchildren, Brian (Anna) and Daniel Schoettler, and Ashley, Vanessa, Brooke and Myles Foreman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John Tondryk, Raymond Tondryk, Chester Pietkiewicz; and a sister, Veronica Plummer. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of Hospitality Manor for all the compassionate care given to George. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19th, at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, 2001-80th Street, at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
