Ethan Noah Grandow-Vargas, 2, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Kenosha on November 9, 2010, he was the son of Megan Grandow and Antonio Vargas. Survivors include his mother, Megan of Kenosha; his father, Antonio of Kenosha; his sister, Nevaeh Grandow-Vargas and other siblings, Arianna Vargas, Antonio Vargas, and Christopher Vargas; his maternal grandparents, LuAnne Grandow and Kenneth Grandow, Sr., both of Kenosha; his paternal grandparents, Debra (Juan) Southern-Jimenez and Jesse Vargas, Sr., both of Chicago; ten aunt and uncles, Chad Paul, Brock (Amanda) Paul, Travis (Jennifer) Paul, Kenneth Grandow, Jr., Adam (Kimberley) Grandow, Jesse Vargas, Nicholas Vargas (Cynthia Garcia), Jordan Vargas, Steven Vargas and Cecily Southern; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a cousin, Noah Paul. Ethan was the light in his mother's eyes. He would light the room up with his smile. He touched the hearts of everybody he met. Ethan loved playing with his sister, cousins, and friends. Ethan is in heaven dancing with the angels. His life was cut short but he had an amazing, loving, fun-filled life and left us with many wonderful memories. Our hearts will never be the same again. We love you Ethy!! Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 14th, at Proko Funeral Home at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.
