Elda Melchor, 75, formerly of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2012, at Agrace Hospice care in Madison surrounded by her family. Elda was born in Edcouch, TX, on February 25, 1937, the daughter of the late Seferino Samudia and Juanita Escobar. She was married to the late Alberto Melchor. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1988. She is survived by 13 children, many grand and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Elda was preceded in death by her husband and one son. She will be remembered as being the best mother, grandmother and friend anyone could ask for. “God Bless You, Elda”. Services will be held on Friday, January 4th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at St. George Cemetery.
