Kathy P. Gibbs, 61, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 10, 2012. Born in Madison, WI, on December 26, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Agnes (Rasmussen) Burgard. Kathy retired from Cherry Electric in Kenosha, WI after 30 years of service. She loved scrap booking, taking care of her two dogs, Toto and Baby, spending time with her family, and being a grandmother. She is survived by her two children, Jack (Jessica) Gibbs Jr. and Lora (Mike) Carlin; long time friend, Joseph Mauldin; brother and sisters, Roger (Ellie) Maynard, Nancy (Gene) Hopkins, Debbie (Glen) Foley, and Donna Gorman; grandchildren, Jason, Dakota, Christopher, Cody and Nicholas Gibbs; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents Agnes Mullin and Paul Burgard. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17th, at Calvary Baptist Church, 309 Water Street, Sauk City, WI 53583, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
