Josephine T. Chiappetta, 93, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2012, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie. Born on March 17, 1919, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna (Scarpelli) Carbone. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School. On May 31, 1941, she married Louis "Louie" Chiappetta at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2008. Josephine was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a great cook, baker and gardener. She especially loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and was a wonderful mother. Josephine is survived by her four children, James (Barbara) Chiappetta of Mt. Pleasant, Thomas (Karen) Chiappetta of Pleasant Prairie, Sandra (Cy) Harris of Honolulu, HI, and Michael Chiappetta of Milwaukee; a sister, Edith (Peter) Rizzo of Kenosha; nine grandchildren, Gina (Eric) Daiker, Robert (Kristin) Chiappetta, James Donald (Charity) Chiappetta, Timothy (Lisa) Chiappetta, Christina (Jeff) Rodriguez, Justin and Erik Harris, and Ashley and Alicia Chiappetta; seven great-grandchildren, Isabella, Josephine, Lauren, Leo and Miles Chiappetta, and Gabriella and Aidan Rodriguez; and her former daughter-in-law, Judith Chiappetta of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Angeline Chiappetta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 10th, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2224-45th Street, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery.
