Rose M. Lootans, 88, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kenosha on July 9, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Fusco) Zuccarello. Rose was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School. On February 17, 1945, she married Camille "Frenchy" Lootans in Norfolk, VA. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2002. Rose had been employed at Woolworths, Coopers, Tri-Clover, and was the owner/Operator of Rose’s Beauty Salon in Manteno, IL. She was a pizza cook for Uptown Bar & Restaurant for 10 years and also worked at Krok’s for over 12 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Surviving are her three sons, Michael (Jean) Lootans of Payson, AZ, John Lootans of Bristol and Timothy (Kris) Lootans of Wheatland; a daughter, Paulette Lootans of Bristol, WI; a sister, Connie (Jack) Neal of Tucson, AZ; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Zuccarelli of Kenosha and Ruth Butera of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sam and Frank Zuccarelli; a sister, Millie Antrim; and a step brother, Nick Butera. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919-54th Street, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
