On Friday evening, October 26, 2012, Terry P. Riley peacefully passed with his rosary in his hand to meet the love of his life – the Lord. Born in Milwaukee on August 16, 1926, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Loretta M. (Fleming) Riley. He was educated in the schools of Milwaukee, attending Holy Rosary and graduating from Riverside East High School. Terence served in the U.S. Army in the 80th Division, 3rd Army in Central Europe, entering the service in November 1944 and was honorably discharged in August 1946. Terry retired from International Harvester and was very active in St. Mark’s Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul, Serra Club of Kenosha, the American Legion, and was Post Commander of VFW Post 1308. Terry will be missed by the many lives he touched, but especially by his closest circle of friends. Upon arrival in his heavenly home, Terry was reunited with his brothers Jim and Donald. All three of these men were World War II veterans. Their youngest brother, Little Tim, who had died in childhood, would readily greet his last brother as would Sally, his beloved stepmother. In addition, awaiting Terry’s arrival will be Cap, Terry’s German Wirehaired Pointer and by Terry’s own admission, Cap was usually smarter than he was. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 31st, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph’s Academy would be greatly appreciated.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Terence’s Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com
