Elmira M. “Myra” Greiner, 85, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at her residence. She was born on March 29, 1927, in Poniatowski, WI, the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Nowicke) Socha. On May 3, 1952, she married the late Adelbert Greiner; he preceded her in death on May 17, 2008. Myra was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and Catholic Foresters. Surviving Myra are her children, Patricia Nelson of Pleasant Prairie, David (Cindy) Greiner of Rockford, IL, and Mark (Debbie) Greiner of Kenosha; seven grandchildren, Alison (Mike) Molinaro, Julie (Jason Berry) Nelson, Brian (Stacey) Nelson, Mark (Felicity) Greiner, Jonathan Greiner, Elizabeth (Mark) Workman and Karen (Dan) Kersey; and six great-grandchildren, Michael and Jacob Molinaro, Kailey and Garrett Kersey, and Gavin and Liam Nelson. Myra was preceded in death by her son, Michael, and four siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Myra on Monday, October 29, 2012, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment will be private at All Saints Cemetery.
