Steven C. Moore, Jr., 43, formerly of Kenosha, late of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012, at his residence. Born in Kenosha on March 20, 1969, he was the son of Steven and Daryl (DeVolt) Moore, Sr. He was educated in Kenosha schools and moved to the Daytona Beach, FL, area 20 years ago. Steve was a floor covering installer owning his own business for many years. He enjoyed canoeing, playing pool, spending time with family and listening to music. He loved nature. Survivors include his mother, Daryl Moore of Kenosha; his grandmother, Dorothy DeVolt; his long time companion, Linda Berntsen of Ormond Beach, FL; two sisters, Donna (Mark Gingerelli) Moore and Susanna “Annie” (Elton III) Richter, both of Kenosha; three nephews, Nicholas Hartnell, Joseph Gingerelli and Vincent Gingerelli; and two nieces, Danielle Callahan and Autumn Richter. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven C. Moore, Sr.; his grandparents, Fred and Julia Moore and Robert L. DeVolt; and beloved aunt, Robbynn DeVolt Hernandez. I didnt know Steve very well, but I remember ALWAYS seeing a smile on his face in the hallways. I deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his family!

I went to Tremper High School with Steve..even though I did not know Steve well.and have not seen or heard from him since then....I do remember him always having time to help everyone if they needed it...such a sweetheart..it saddens my heart that he was taken way before his time...My condolences go out to his loved ones...May HE rest in PEACE......
