Nick J. Lupia, 45, a resident of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2012, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. He was born on August 22, 1967, to Cheryl (Spehar) and the late Nick S. Lupia. He is survived by his mother, Cheryl, and sister, Kathy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27th, at Proko Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. On Friday, September 28th, a Rosary will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius V Roman Catholic Church, 425 Grand Avenue, Mukwonago, WI 53149. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius Church. Interment will be private. Nick was my best friend since Junior High. We trained together in Mixed Martial Arts and he became good at it and enjoyed the workouts. We would talk quite often about the Bible and I came to find out that Nick was quite versed at it. Nick was the person who gave my son his first karate gi which was so thoughtful. He always remembered birthdays and was always a giver of gifts during these times and during CHRISTmas! You will be missed my friend!! Your smile, heart, attitude, patience, joy, peace, love, kindness, faithfulness will always be cherished with us in our hearts!!!

He always called me "Speedy", because I used to pass him on the way to church. Nick will be missed. I'm so glad I was able to see him when I came to WI earlier this year. We will have Traditional Latin Mass said for the repose of his soul. Rest in Peace, my friend, in the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
