Marilyn Horton

Marilyn Horton, 72, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at her residence. Born on April 5, 1940, in Whitehall, WI, she was the daughter of the late Menick and Stella (Magelee) Ringlien. She was raised and educated in the schools of Hixton, WI, coming to Kenosha to make her home in the 1960’s. She had been employed by Jockey International. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and listening to Country Music. Surviving are her four children, Michael (Darlene) Horton of Kenosha, Mary (Dan) Moncatch of Arbor Vitae, WI, Nancy (Dave) Beegle of Racine, WI, and Kari Horton of Kenosha; a brother, Phillip Ringlien of Spooner, WI; her ex-husband, Gayle Horton of Merrillan, WI; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Ringlien. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 29th, at Proko Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Proko Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
