Donna Grisham

1952 ∼ 2012

Donna J. Grisham, 60 of Kenosha, WI, went from her earthly home in her husband’s arms to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 8, 2012, after a brief courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 15, 1952, to James A. and Claudia R. (Gentry) McLean at Saint Catherine’s Hospital. Donna attended McKinley Elementary and Jr. High and graduated from Tremper High School. She married her high school sweet heart Roger D. Grisham on July 17, 1971. After having their first child, Donna went back to school following her dream to become a nurse. Donna worked as a compassionate caring nurse at Saint Catherine’s Hospital, then did private duty nursing and most recently was employed at Saint Joseph’s Home for the Aged for 19 years until she was unable to work due to her illness. Donna lived life to its fullest; she enjoyed boating, raising show dogs, entering their truck in car shows, traveling, and shopping but most of all riding behind Roger on their Harley on extended trips with wonderful friends. She was a member of the Racine Hog Chapter. Left to cherish Donna’s memory are her husband Roger, her children, Julie (Scott) Fiebrantz, her in home care givers, Kylee (Shane) Fox, her favorite shopping buddy, and Grant (Megan) Grisham, Packers and Brewers party companions. Sisters, Barbara (William) Hays, Sherri (Michael) Mathis and Sister of her heart Betty (Michael) O’Neal. Brother in law Tommy (Pam) Grisham, Sister in law Peggy (Dave) Jones, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded by, a Sister, Jimmie Lynn in infancy, Brother in law, Steve Grisham, Father and Mother in law, Bonard & Maggie Grisham. Because of a large family Donna has many family members that have gone before her. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m., interment to follow in Green Ridge Cemetery. A time to visit with the family will be Tuesday, September 11th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
