Steven D. Bryant, 61, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012, at his residence. Born in Burlington, WI, on May 29, 1951, he was the son of the late Willard "Woody" and Mary J. (Doll) Bryant. He lived and was educated in Bristol. On July 17, 1968, he entered the United States Marines, where he served during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/one Star, RVN Cross of Gallantry w/Palm & Frame and the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device. He married the love of his life Barbara J. England in Burlington, WI, on July 7, 1988. Steven was employed with the American Brass for many years. He enjoyed drawing, flying his RC helicopters, listening to music, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his two children Ashley (Jesse) Slater of Kenosha and Steven (Kiryl) Bryant II of Portland, OR; five grandchildren, Jossalynn, Sahvannah, Leshawna, Brooklynn and Serenity; a brother, Robert (Betty) Bryant of Portage, WI; a niece, Rebecca (Jeff) Fabian of Burlington; and a nephew, Robert (Terri) Bryant of Burlington. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 ½ years, Barbara on January 28, 2010, his parents, and his grandparents.
