Mary Ann Hubert

Mary Ann Hubert, 93, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Parkside Manor in Kenosha. Born in Emporium, PA, on May 30, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia (Romano) Gennaccaro. She and her family came to Kenosha in 1928 to make their home and she graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. She married to Willis G. Hubert; he preceded her in death. She had been employed by Ameteck Lamb Electric in Racine, retiring in 1988. Mary was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Surviving are a sister, Ellen DeLabio of Kenosha; grandson, Joseph G. Hubert of Charleston, SC; and her daughter-in-law, Chris H. Hubert of Stevens, Point, WI. She was preceded in death by her two sons, John Peter Hubert in infancy and Willard J. Hubert; two brothers, Peter Gennaccaro and Lucent Gennaccaro; and two sisters, Angie Gallo and Jennie Aiello. As some of you already know, Mary was like a grandma to me. A void was filled for both of us when we met over 6 years ago. I loved her very much, she was one of a kind.

I met Mary through my daughter Sue, who delivered meals on wheels to her, Mary was such a sweet lady with such a sweet smile. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. She will be missed but we were blessed to know her,
