Howard E. England, 75, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Born in Kenosha on September 17, 1936, he was the son of the late Howard and Antonina (Leto) England, Sr. Howard grew up in Iowa, moving back to Kenosha in 1955. On May 4, 1957, he married Kathleen Moran. Howard had been a supervisor at American Motors/Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1985. Howard was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed debating politics and woodworking. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen of Kenosha; two daughters, Elizabeth (Lanny) Morrison of Richmond, IL, and Judith (Stephen) Hanlon of Pleasant Prairie, WI; a sister, Mary Gitzlaff of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Michael, Stephanie and Ashley; a great-granddaughter, Sahvannah; and also step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, many other relatives and many friends. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the entire staff of Hospice Alliance, Doctors and Nurses, and also the staff of Right at Home for the wonderful care given to Howard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 10th, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 7117-14th Avenue, at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
